About Me...
I received a Bachelor of Science degree from Mount Holyoke College in Early Childhood Education and Psychology, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1999. I began my teaching career in

September of 2000 and pursued my Master's of Education degree in Special Education, receiving my teaching certification in this area as well. After spending several years working in Massachusetts's public schools as a special education teacher, I realized that a majority of my students struggled with Reading and I wanted to be able to better serve them. I obtained a C.A.G.S. (Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies) degree from Bridgewater State College to be a Reading Specialist and obtained my teaching certification in this area as well. I have been employed as the Reading Specialist (grades 6-12) for the Duxbury Public Schools since September 2010. I am also certified as a Wilson Dyslexia Therapist (W.D.T.), Level II.
