We welcome you and your comments to Halifax County Schools' page. The purpose of this page is to present matters of interest to the school district's parents, students, and staff. While the web is a 24/7 medium, and your comments are welcome at any time, we generally only monitor comments and postings during regular business hou
rs. Halifax County Schools is NOT liable for inappropriate or offensive comments that may be posted. Once posted, Halifax County Schools reserves the right to delete submissions that contain:
1. Profanity or vulgar or abusive language.
2. Personal attacks or threatening or harassing activity of any kind.
3. Defamatory or disparaging content.
4. Comments or content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, genetics, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or intellectual disability, or sexual orientation.
5. Sexual content or links to other sites.
6. Spam, advertising, or links to other sites.
7. Promote particular services, products, or political organizations/candidates.
9. Infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property.
10. Personally identifiable or protected medical or personal information.
11. Sensitive information that may compromise the safety, security, or proceedings of public systems or any criminal or civil investigations.
12. Content that violates any local, state, or federal laws or Board of Education policy or procedure.
13. Comments not topically related to the matter being commented upon or otherwise clearly off-topic. The school district reserves the right to block comments from Facebook users who violate the above rules. Multiple violations can result in the offending user being banned from this page. You must also comply with all terms established by Facebook.
