Adrienne McDougall Special Education Parent Consultant I provide special ed and mental health system advocacy and parent coaching in the south shore Massachusetts area.

I provide Special Education Advocacy and support to parents in the South Shore Massachusetts area. I specialize in supporting parents of children with high functioning autism, ADHD, behavioral and mental health disorders, though I will help anyone. I am certified by the Federation For Children With Special Needs as a parent consultant. I have an associate degree in Human Service and focus on group

dynamics. I worked as a family support partner for a year supporting parents of children with serious emotional disturbance helping them ensure their voice was heard in the care process including working with school teams. I focus on getting students the services they need to meet their potential and helping the parent build the skills they need to ensure their child receives an appropriate education once I am out of the picture. I am the parent of two children with special needs ages 8 and almost 18. This gives me a peer perspective most parents feel very comfortable with.
