In order to better prepare our young people to take their place in society, the Halifax PTO has sought to improve the educational resources and activities provided to our students. This year the Halifax PTO is sponsoring a Race for Education where it combines fundraising and fitness. Students may walk or jog around the Halifax High School stadium as many times as they are able to in a 1-hours’ tim
e. We invite you to join us in helping to raise funds for PTO sponsored activities (e.g. field trips, assembles, author visits), classroom resources, playground equipment, and much more. We are currently seeking help from local businesses in the form of “donations and products.”
We invite you to join with us in this worthwhile fundraising event at Halifax Elementary School. Would you consider contributing a product or monetary donation for our “Race for Education”? The businesses that contribute will be advertised in a Race Newsletter that will be given to our school families.
