Halfway FFA Chapter

It was a great day at the Ag Education Initiative hosted by Buffalo Livestock Market. Students got to experience a variety of stations including preg checking cattle before the sale. They then competed for profitability in buying feeder steers.

Madi Doke- 1st Place- $300 prize
Halfway- Highest Chapter Average- $500 prize

Mums that are not pre-ordered will be available on a first come first serve basis. Colors available are Yellow, Red, White, Lavender, and Bronze.

Halfway FFA juniors and seniors are at UMC Field Day today interacting with the latest in agriculture technology. Students got to experience a spray drone, a cannulated cow for nutrition research, insect collection, colleges and careers, and much more!

FFA Jacket day for Ag Science I students! Sophie Redd received a free FFA jacket for being the first student to say the Creed.

Students spent the day cleaning the smoker, stovetop, and griddle. They also ripped out raised beds and planned other building improvements. The best students, with zero complaints about getting dirty on day two of school!
