Challenge School 益智中文學校 NAEYC accredited Mandarin bilingual preschool & WASC accredited Chinese School in San Mateo, Belmont, and Fremont.

Challenge School is committed to educating the whole person. Each wonderful performance carried the most beautiful wishes and blessings for the year ahead. From bright smiles to confident voices, our little stars lit up the stage and filled the room with happiness and tradition.

新春快乐🎆马年大吉🍊Our SMFC TK–G5 Chinese Afterschool students wowed everyone with a Dragon & Lion 🐲🏮 Dance performance to welcome the New Year — we’re so proud of their teamwork and confidence!

Our 1.5–5 year olds also celebrated at our San Mateo bilingual preschool with a joyful Traditional New Year Assembly filled with culture and festive fun.

Our preschoolers had a wonderful time at Lemos Farm today — the perfect way to kick off the holiday spirit! Their excitement and joy truly reminded us of the meaning of gratitude this season.

On the other hand 🧡Thank-you to all the amazing families and friends who have donated fundraising goal or helped spread the word. Because of your generosity, Second Harvest will be able to provide over 11,500 meals to our neighbors across the Bay Area this holiday season.✨ Even better: Thanks to a match from the Strongpoint Fund and an anonymous donor, every $1 donated will provide four healthy meals!

Challenge School invites you to help end hunger! 🧡

Challenge School has been a proud part of the San Mateo community for over 20 years. Sadly, many local families are losing their grocery assistance this month, and 1 in 6 neighbors in Silicon Valley now rely on Second Harvest of Silicon Valley for food.

It breaks our hearts to know that it’s becoming harder for families to feed their loved ones. That’s why we’re fundraising to make sure every child in our community has access to the nutritious food they need to grow and thrive.

Our TK-G5 students celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival Fair in their favorite “second classroom”—our big playground! 🌕Each class sang festive songs and joined with parents to enjoy fun Chinese cultural games. The event was filled with laughter, warmth, and meaningful connections. 💖Moments like these allow children to experience tradition with joy while families grow closer through shared celebration.🥳

✨Golden Autumn Carnival ✨金秋嘉年华at Fremont Campus

It was a joyful and meaningful bilingual celebration! 🎉
The PBL project showcase was truly inspiring—each piece reflected students’ creativity and the dedication they bring to learning every day.
Children also enjoyed a variety of cultural activities, experiencing traditions through fun and interactive Chinese culture games.
We were especially happy to see both new and old friends gather at our Fremont Campus, sharing laughter, warmth, and community. 🎈🥳💕
