We had a mischievous visitor at Wee Kids today… a silly leprechaun!

While the kiddos were fast asleep, he tiptoed in and played a funny little prank—he took ONE shoe from each child! 😄 You can imagine the surprise when they woke up and realized something was missing. Some didn’t quite know what to think!

The children searched high and low, giggling along the way, and finally found their missing shoes… each one filled with a gold chocolate coin! What a sweet surprise!

Looks like that sneaky leprechaun wanted to leave a little St. Patrick’s Day magic behind.

Meet Miss Genita, our wonderful Older Toddler Teacher who brings warmth, experience, and heart to everything she does! With over 35 years in the early childhood field, she has served in many roles, including teacher assistant, director, and director-level leadership. Miss Genita has worked with children of all ages, from infants to school-age learners, sharing her knowledge and love for early education every step of the way.

She is known for being dedicated, compassionate, and truly amazing at building strong relationships with families, children, and her peers. Everyone who meets Miss Genita quickly adores her — and it’s easy to see that she adores them right back! 💛

🚒👨‍🚒 Future Firefighter in Training! 👨‍🚒🚒

One of our young toddlers had a big job to do today as he pretended to be a firefighter! With lots of imagination and excitement, he jumped right into action, helping keep the city safe.

Through pretend play, our little learner was able to explore the important role firefighters have in our communities and learn about the brave heroes who work hard to protect our cities every day. We loved watching his creativity and confidence shine while he played the role of one of the city’s firefighters!

Last week our theme was My Country 🇺🇸

The children had so much fun creating their very own “states!” After watercolor painting their cities, they decorated them with stickers and added things that make a community special—like sports teams, holidays, important people, buildings, and more.

It was a wonderful way to spark creativity while learning about what makes each state and community unique. We loved seeing their imaginations come to life!

📚✨ Read Across America Week Fun! ✨📚

Preschool enjoyed the silly, rhyming stories The Cat in the Hat and Fox in Socks by Dr. Seuss. The children loved listening to all the playful words and rhymes!

After reading, we made our own Fox in Socks craft. The children used tissue paper, feathers, googly eyes, and a little black nose to create their foxes. It was a fun way to practice creativity and fine motor skills while bringing the story to life!

Yesterday we had fun reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom! After the story, we practiced our ABCs and talked about how the letters climbed up the tree. We also learned why trees are important and how we can take care of them.

The children then created their own Chicka Chicka Boom Boom trees, adding letters climbing up and falling down—just like in the story! They had so much fun bringing the book to life with their creativity.
