We are so happy to announce that we have a team that is certified, trained, and ready to serve our community!

Tutoring slots are available with Mrs. Misha and Mrs. Diaz!
Sessions are one-on-one, individualized, and tailored to each student's academic needs. For this, the Start Bright team uses scientific proven method to carefully evaluate the needs of the students.

Sessions are 1hr long and being held inside our private learning center in Haines City. Price per session is $45.

We provide a personalized curriculum, small group instruction and interactive learning activities like: self defense class, art class, writing workshops, STEM and confidence building exercises.

Another great week of progress not perfection!

At Start Bright we begin every morning with positivity by teaching our student values and understanding them. This helps them flow at ease through the learning because we are teaching them that no challenge is impossible to overcome. We are teaching them confidence to continue even if the goal seems so far away.

This week we continue to strengthen our phonics skills, comprehension, communication. After discussing what is a habitat and what does it need for animals to survive, and writing out their plan, the students created their dinosaur habitat with recycled materials. They were allowed to only choose 3-5 items. We worked on place value in different levels, even applied what we have learned about paleontology in our Prehistoric theme unit, digging through owl pellets and finding out what did the owl has eaten. The blue group finished their dinosaur research project and presented their favorite 5 facts to the rest of the class. 🦖🦕

🦖🌋 FRIDAY CO-OP IS BACK — and we’re going PREHISTORIC!🌋🦕

Get ready for 5 weeks of hands-on learning, creating, moving, and discovering at Start Bright Learning Center!

Each Friday, students will travel back in time as we explore prehistoric life, dinosaurs, fossils, the Ice Age, and early humans through:

🔬 STEM experiments & challenges
✏️ Writing & storytelling
🎨 Creative crafts
➕ Hands-on math
🏃 Movement, games & activities

Our Friday Co-Op is designed to make learning feel like an ADVENTURE while giving children opportunities to explore, ask questions, create, collaborate, and discover.

Another week of learning, growing, and building confidence at Start Bright Microschool! 🌟📚

This week was about so much more than academics. Our students practiced self-defense, built confidence, adjusted to new routines, embraced new challenges, and continued learning alongside amazing educators and peers. 💪✨

We also celebrated our first Show & Tell! 🎤This gives students an opportunity to practice speaking in front of an audience, organize and share information about something that interests them, and become more confident communicators.

Throughout the week, our students also worked on:
📖 Building consistent reading habits
✏️ Becoming familiar with their ELA and Math journals
🤝 Learning how to work with different peers
💡 Sharing their knowledge and ideas with one another
🧠 Becoming more independent with classroom routines
🌱 Learning that new challenges are part of growing

At Start Bright, progress isn’t only measured by what students know—it’s also seen in their **confidence, independence, communication, collaboration, and willingness to try.

Week by week, routine by routine, challenge by challenge… we are growing brighter together.
