Making their case for excellence! ⚖️

Valwood Mock Trial team captains Julia Soshnik and Lillie Moore were among just 90 students statewide accepted into the State Bar of Georgia’s annual Law Academy!

Lillie attended the Atlanta session and earned admission to the Student Bar. Julia attended the program’s inaugural Macon session and earned admission with honors for her exceptionally high scores.

Both students have excelled as attorneys for the Valiants and will return to those roles this season to tackle a complex civil case. We’re proud to see them continue Valwood’s strong tradition of participation in the Law Academy!

Congratulations, Julia and Lillie! 💙🧡

A little Paris, right here at Valwood!
Our sixth-grade music class hosted second graders for a “Picnic in Paris” today! The performance brought a Parisian street market to life, complete with street entertainers and Paris-inspired snacks for our young guests.
This musical trip extended the second graders’ social studies lesson, bringing classroom learning to life through music, food, and a taste of French culture.
Cross-grade experiences like this are a special part of life at Valwood, giving older students opportunities to lead and younger students role models to learn from, all while strengthening the connections within our Valwood family.
Merci, sixth graders, for sharing your creativity, music, and hospitality! 💙🧡
