Such a great week in Washington DC at the National TSA Conference! Spent Thursday sight-seeing at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum and walking about 20,000 steps, give or take a few hundred around the monuments! Even rode the Metro… so many “firsts” for most of these kiddos!

What a week! Competed in 23 events against 36 states and 2 countries with semifinalists in 8 categories; 4 Top 10s, 3 Semifinalists; 1 Top 3!

These kids worked so hard from August through Yesterday! Trophy or not, top 10 or not… I could not be more proud of EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!

We are headed home today after a very long week. I can finally start my summer break… well, after we get home about 12 hours from now!

After lots of planning, panicking, re-planning, redoing, re-reverything it feels like… we are loaded up and headed north to the National TSA Leadership Conference in Washington D.C.!

Hahira Middle School’s Technology Student Association make history!
For the first time ever, 24 students (6 teams) competed in the TEAMS (Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science) event—and brought home an incredible sweep, earning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the state of Georgia!

State Leadership Conference 2026 in the books! Lots of lessons learned but a great trip for all!
4th place overall in the state!

I am extremely proud of every single one of these kids! They worked hard and their efforts paid off!
26 Top 10s and 7 Top 3s:
1st place - Chapter Team, Audio Podcasting, STEM Animation
2nd place - Inventions/Innovations, Drone, Flight
3rd place - Video Game Design

Now on to Nationals!
