🐾 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

A little shoutout to our neighbors at Happy Tailz Grooming for always keeping our girls, Betty & Mary, looking their very best!

They absolutely LOVE their groomer, Corrine, and on the rare occasion they stop by the office, they fully expect plenty of kisses, cuddles, and attention from everyone. 😂

We’re so thankful to have such wonderful neighbors who take such good care of our girls! Happy National Dog Day from Betty & Mary! 🐾❤️

Haul & Hanger was born from an idea Rachel Thrasher, and her two daughters Mack and Holly, created to do something special together. But the story really began long before that.

Rachel grew up learning the retail business from her family, watching her mother work hard and learning the ropes along the way. Her mother became one of her greatest inspirations and today, she’s right there beside Rachel, helping her manage the day-to-day of Haul & Hanger. The day I was there she had her sleeves rolled up working behind the scenes with her precious girls.

I just love that the tables have turned. 🥹❤️ The little girl who once watched her mother work is now building something of her own, while her mother gets to watch, encourage and work alongside her.

And perhaps the sweetest part? Rachel is giving Mack and Holly a front-row seat to what hard work, determination, creativity and believing in yourself can look like , all while getting to spend precious time together.

That’s the kind of business story I love to celebrate.

Today I asked Mr. Harris if I could take a picture with a local celebrity, and he kindly obliged. 🥰

Our sweet friend Bobby Harris is 93 years young and, if you’ve lived around Hahira for any amount of time, you probably know him. He’s a bit of a local legend. Mr. Harris served our country, loves his family fiercely, and makes everyone feel special when he talks to them.

We’ve recently started offering Mr. Harris curbside service, and he’s got the system down perfectly: pull up, give us a honk, and we’ll come running! After all, at 93, we think he’s earned a little VIP treatment!

I love his sweet spirit and the way he embraces life with a smile. We are blessed to know him and call him our friend.

Some of the things you get to insure come with a pretty special story. My twin brother, Dusty, owns Mystic Pools, and I’m proud to insure the business vehicles that help his crew get the job done.

But years ago, I got to watch something even more special come to life right here in Hahira. Mystic Pools built the beautiful fountain at the Hahira Train Depot, and I got to watch it go from an idea to the beautiful showpiece it is today.

There was just something really special about watching my twin brother and my dad build something together that would become a part of Hahira. It’s also a good reminder that business insurance isn’t just about buildings and storefronts. We can insure business vehicles too. Whether you have one work truck or a whole fleet, I’d love to help so you can keep working hard.

Family and a little piece of Hahira history. That’s a pretty special combination.

And now, every time I pass the depot, I think about those days of watching the fountain come to life and feel a little extra proud. 💦

If you’ve driven through Hahira, chances are you’ve noticed Lilirayne, right across from the Hahira Depot. But there’s so much more to this beautiful boutique than the clothes hanging on the racks.

While shopping the other day I had the pleasure of chatting with Leesa, the heart behind Lilirayne, and learning a little more about her story. She has an impressive background in the retail and fashion world, having spent years working with other clothing companies and gaining valuable experience along the way. But eventually, she decided to take that experience, trust her heart, and step out on faith to open a boutique of her very own.

While I was there, I also had the sweetest opportunity to meet one of her beautiful daughters, Kayse. I loved seeing the two of them behind the counter together, with Leesa’s mission statement displayed proudly on the wall behind them.

At the heart of Lilirayne is a simple message: what you wear should make you feel beautiful, confident, comfortable, and most importantly, like yourself. It’s not about fitting in or being someone else. It’s about letting your personality shine through in your own unique way.

As a mom of a teenage daughter of my own this really resonated with me.

And honestly, isn’t that what we hope every young woman learns? That she never has to change who she is to be beautiful, and she just needs the confidence to be completely herself. 🩷

Happy 1 Year Anniversary, Aubrey! 🤍

Aubrey is the epitome of a southern belle. She is kind to everyone, always willing to help, and one of the hardest workers you’ll ever meet. She has been such a blessing to our office and to our team. We celebrated her today with coffee, gifts, and lunch at Fancy Girl Farms. 💐

We are so thankful for you, Aubrey, and all that you bring to our office. Here’s to many more years!

It’s so much fun walking around Hahira documenting all the special people and special places that are here. We LOVE The Bee’s Knees Creamery located at 300 W Main Street. They make frozen custard and Italian Ice that will make you think your at a famous destination on vacation. Except it’s right here in our “backyard”! How lucky are we?!!

We all got mango Italian ice and vanilla custard mixed together, and it was the perfect treat to beat this insane heat. Have you ever had frozen custard with Italian ice? If so what’s your favorite flavor combination??🥭 🍦

Big shoutout to our friend and local real estate rockstar, Whitney Sharpe, for dropping off coloring sheets and colored pencils for our youngest visitors! 🖍️💕

As exciting as WE think insurance is, the kids not so much. 😜 We definitely needed something to keep the kids entertained while Mom and Dad talk about insurance. 😂
