CONGRATULATION Ms. AMY!!!!

🌟 SECAC Ambassador Shout-Out 🌟
North Hagerstown High School – Amy Kegarise
One of Amy's colleagues shared it best: "As a Connections Teacher and Case Manager at North Hagerstown High School (NHHS), I am proud to write this recommendation for Amy, an indispensable cornerstone of our school community. Having worked alongside Amy for the past two years, I have witnessed firsthand her sustained excellence, deep dedication, and invaluable impact on our special education program.
Amy possesses a profound understanding of our students' individual needs, making her a vital asset to our classroom's daily success. Beyond her core duties, she is a distinguished leader within our professional community, serving as both the ESP Union Representative for North High and a County Union Representative. This dedication underscores her commitment to advocating for the well-being and professional stature of her colleagues.
On a daily basis, Amy serves as a school-wide resource with a unique talent for building connections. She consistently helps design effective strategies to reach students who struggle to connect with others, fostering trust and positive outcomes. Furthermore, Amy is the ultimate selfless teammate. She routinely pauses her own work to assist colleagues, happily taking on tasks outside her official role without complaint. Her passion for inclusion also shines through her work helping to run the school's Best-Buddies club.
Amy’s kindness, patience, and unwavering support have profoundly shaped our school culture. She is an exemplary Paraprofessional whose dedication, professional advocacy, and exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships make her incredibly deserving of this recognition."
Thank you, Mrs. Kegarise, for the incredible impact you have on our students every single day! 💛
