To us our students are not just students, they are family; and this is how we operate our school, as one big family where everyone is there for the same goal to learn, grow, and help each other in anyway we can. All the while having fun while training! We are here to help our students achieve their goals in the Martial Arts. We are not a belt factory as most schools are. Our students must work hard to achieve Belt Rank in our school. We also do not push Tournaments on our students. We do, however, participate in Tournaments, but it's up to the students whether or not they want to do them. If the student would like to participate in a Tournament, then we help equip them. Karate is about learning self-defense, discipline, respect, leadership skills and how to control oneself by thinking before you do or making any decision, because decisions and actions have consequences. Most of all, Karate builds strength in the individual who practices the art and gives the student a long, healthy life! It is known that Karate, when practiced a lifetime, can keep you 10 years younger than what you are! So come join the family and learn the beautiful art of Okinawan Shorin Ryu!
