We are excited to recognize Mrs. Brinegar and Mrs. Orndorff for the tremendous impact they have on E. Russell Hicks each and every day.

Both consistently go above and beyond to support our students, staff, and school community. This spring, they played a critical role in organizing and coordinating our state testing, helping ensure one of the smoothest and most successful testing seasons we've had. Their attention to detail, organization, teamwork, and willingness to do whatever is needed make them invaluable members of the ERH family.

Congratulations to Mrs. Shanholtz, our May Staff Member of the Month! She embodies the WCPS core value of Well-Being as she is a welcoming face when entering the school. One nominator says "My daughter has a been dealing with a lot recently and Mrs. Shanholtz has been such a kind support for her. Although this is not her role as a counselor she truly has helped my daughter feel comfortable and just have a break to decompress. I know having her in the front office has helped so much."
