Welcome Back Besties! We had an amazing first day yesterday and we can't wait to continue to connect with our students and families. Over the next few days, we will be posting some fun pics of our staff so you can begin to get to know us! Be sure to connect to your teachers using ParentVue!

Some important reminders:

🚌 Do not use the bus loop (Mill Street) to drop or pick up students. This area is reserved for our buses and specialized transportation students. Please help us stay safe by following this rule!

⏰ Arrival time is 8:30-8:55 AM. Please have your student at school on time, everyday! Instruction begins promptly at 9:00 AM. If you are late to drop off, you must come to the front office to sign your student in.

🚗 Car riders are dismissed from the gym. Please remain in your car in the line until your child is dismissed.

⚠️ The front parking lot is reserved for staff and visitor parking. Parents are not permitted to cut through this lot to drop or pick up students. Please help us keep our students, staff and parents safe by following this rule!

Join us from 4–7 PM at Bester Elementary School for FREE food and family fun! Doors open at 4, with dinner available to grab and go.

Wow! It was such a fun, filled week that we never got to post all our pictures! Here you go, enjoy!

🥞 A huge thank you to Lifehouse Church for preparing a wonderful breakfast for our Bester teacher's. We are so lucky to have amazing community partners!

🚌 Bester teamed up with South Hagerstown High School to meet and greet families and play some games!

📚 Our Open House was a huge success with tons of parents and students in attendance. If you missed your chance to stop by, we will have additional Family Engagement events this September!

🎉 Bester staff met up with our community partners over the weekend to attend end of summer parties and see some amazing families. Karaoke, pizza parties and more!

We can't wait to continue to connect and learn together this school year. Don't forget to stay connect by updating your email and cell phone numbers with the front office!
