The future is bright, and today our students got a glimpse of just how many exciting paths are available to them!

We are incredibly grateful to our outstanding presenters for taking the time to share their knowledge, experiences, and passion with our students. Your willingness to inspire the next generation made a lasting impact, and we thank you for helping make Career Day such a meaningful and memorable experience!

3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students had a blast at the Boxcars game today!! Students earned this celebratory field trip by collecting points during the week of MCAP for attendance and exhibiting good test taking skills during the MCAP window. We are so proud of all of you for hitting it out of the park during MCAP!!

Potomac Heights joyfully celebrated the return of graduating seniors today, as they took their final lap around the school before embarking on their next glorious adventure.

Our school has partnered with Prismatic Magic for an extraordinary laser light assembly as a culminating celebration of our Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Our celebratory assembly will be taking place next Wednesday, May 27th at 1:30pm.

Spring Jam is a celebration of lasers, music, and motion. Packed with laser animations of outdoor activities like baseball, swimming, and surfing, set to a soundtrack of energetic pop and rock music that encourages singing along. Spring Jam aims to promote physical fitness and exercise by captivating children with stunning visuals and upbeat tunes throughout the show.

The assembly incorporates a mix of science, technology, art, and music to re-inspire your kids to love school and learning. And you can help!

PHE staff were honored tonight to celebrate 4 exceptional 5th grade students who earned the Principal Citizenship Award, recognizing their outstanding character and achievements. These prestigious awards are bestowed upon 5th grade recipients who consistently demonstrate: Unwavering pride and respect towards peers and educators, unrelenting pride and respect for the school's values, rules, and property, active participation in class discussions and school activities, and a steadfast commitment to achieving academic excellence.

Today, we had the privilege of paying tribute to a distinguished former educator. PHE held a ceremony to unveil our newly dedicated bench in honor of Catherine White, the creator of the "Reading with Izzy" program and a former teacher. Those familiar with Kate knew she was an unwavering educator dedicated to teaching and mentoring young minds. We extend our gratitude to staff members and Mrs. White's family for participating in the dedication ceremony. May her legacy endure at PHE and within the students she taught.
