This week we celebrated some very special women… our Queens of The Corner 👑💛

Our administrative assistants are truly the heart of Little Jack’s. They are the first smiles you see in the morning, the calm in the middle of busy days, and the steady hands that keep everything running behind the scenes. They carry so much on their shoulders, and they do it all with grace, patience, and so much heart.

This week, we wanted to honor them in a way that felt just as special as they are—because to us, they are nothing less than queens.

Thank you for every phone call answered, every problem solved, every child and family cared for, and every moment you give to making Little Jack’s feel like home. Your impact is felt in ways that words can’t fully capture.

From my heart to all of our families, I want to wish you a truly blessed and joyful Easter. This day is such a beautiful reminder of the true meaning of Easter—celebrating the resurrection of Jesus and the hope, love, and new beginnings that come with it.
I feel so grateful for each and every one of you and the little ones we get to love and care for each day. Watching your children grow and learn is such a blessing in itself.

Dallas said, “Wait… what is THAT?!” 🦎🐢

Our School Age crew had a very exciting visitor today—meet our brand new baby turtle! Dallas the gecko was very curious and made sure to come say hello (from a safe distance, of course!). We think he’s already claiming big brother status.

Throughout the day, our teachers love taking our younger friends on little “village visits” so they can stop by and see all of our classroom pets. It’s always a highlight and brings so many smiles!!!

We love creating these fun, hands-on moments for the children—because learning and exploring should always be a little adventurous! 💛

Save the Date: Youth-Only Trout Fishing Day

Saturday, March 21 🗓️

All “closure 1” Put and Take trout fishing areas 📍

On this special day, children under 16 may catch and keep up to two trout (except brook trout) in designated areas. Fishing areas and their closure designations can be found in the 2026 Maryland Guide to Fishing and Crabbing, available in print or online. https://mddnr.info/4hNJa2l

Waters with a closure period will open to all anglers on March 28, “Opening Day” for the trout stocking season.
