The dance department’s Senior Showcase is tonight at the HCC theater @ 7 pm. Here is a message to Svea, Maddy, Brooke, Kaylee, Trenity, and Camryn.

We are so proud of all of our seniors and everything they’ve accomplished over the years. Watching each of them grow as performers and people has been so special. All of their hard work and dedication has never gone unnoticed. Everyone has loved being in your casts, learning from you, and getting to share the stage with you. Thank you for always bringing so much talent, energy, and support to every class, rehearsal, and performance. We will always cherish all of our memories with you. It’s hard to imagine this department without you next year. We are going to miss you all so much!💐

The dance department’s Senior Showcase is tomorrow May 8th at the HCC theater @ 7 pm. Our last senior that will be performing is Camryn Ellis. She choreographed her lyrical solo to “We Hug Now” by Sydney Rose. Her jazz/contemporary group piece is to “CHIHIRO” by Billie Eilish. Camryn would like to say: I am extremely greatful for all of my cast. They always worked so hard and were so dedicated in my rehearsals. I could not be prouder of them. They made teaching very fun, easy, and rewarding to do. I know you will all do amazing! I love you all, with my whole heart💙

She choreographed her contemporary solo to “Love In The Dark” by Adele and her contemporary group piece is to “Pray” by Sam Smith. Trenity would like to say: I am so thankful for how hard everyone in my cast has worked. I cant wait to see it out on the stage this Friday! Love you all so much💜

She choreographed her contemporary solo to “Nostalgia” by Tate McRae and her contemporary group piece to “Crumble” by Lord’s Child. Kaylee would like to say: Thank you so much to my cast. Everyone has worked so hard and has continued to do their best every single time I have worked with them! This has definitely been my favorite year with everyone in the department, I love you all so much and I can’t wait to watch everyone dance this Friday!! 🤍

She choreographed her Contemporary solo to “Creep” by Haley Reinhart. Her group piece will be dancing to a fun Latin Jazz Mix of songs. Brooke would like to say: I am grateful for my “Gente” over the years at BISFA. I have loved my time at BISFA and will celebrate with all those who have been such a great part of my journey! ❤️

She choreographed her tap solo to “On My Soul” by Bruno Mars. And her group piece is jazz to “Me against the music” by Britney Spears. Maddy would like to say: I have had so much fun throughout the past couple of months working with my cast! They really have been such an amazing group to work with and I can’t wait to see them bring the sass to stage Friday night! 💛

And her group piece is contemporary to “Piano Man” by Billy Joel. Svea would like to say: I am so grateful for all the hard work my cast has put into my piece. They have truly brought my vision to life and I could not love them enough. I can’t wait to see everyone’s hard work showcased this Friday! ❤️

The Junior Show is tonight at Smithsburg High School @7 pm! Come watch our Junior dancers each perform solos, along with their casts performing a piece they choreographed on their own. Every single piece has been worked on so hard and all of the juniors are so proud of their casts. They all appreciate the amount of time and dedication everyone has put into their pieces and we would love if you came and supported them! Can wait for an amazing show!🤍
