Shooting Stars Child Care Shooting Stars Child Care is a quality childcare program licensed by the Department of Early Education Welcome to Shooting Stars Childcare.

We offer childcare for children ages 12 weeks to 5 years old. Our goal is to provide a fun and safe learning environment for your child, while encouraging social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development. Your child will receive quality personal and individualized care in a warm and loving home, where they can feel safe and happy allowing them to build confidence and a positive self image

. Our home is designed to provide both a nurturing home atmosphere along with dedicated areas for the children to actively learn and play in. We provide a stimulating environment with spacious rooms giving each child the opportunities to explore, learn, and grow. We incorporate fun activities into our daily schedule that include arts and crafts, free-play, structured-play, music, song and dance, various creative and educational projects, and much more. We offer a structured curriculum based on the development of the children involved. Because of these points, we feel we are able to provide an atmosphere that is both educational and fun for all children. Our home childcare meets all the requirements established by Massachusetts’ Department of Early Education and Care. We understand that you are entrusting me with the care of your child, and we take this responsibility very seriously. We look forward to the opportunity to work both with you and your child.

Sometimes learning is messy, children need opportunities to get messy. To learn through all of their senses, to experience those tactile experiences. How can we ever learn to make the colour green, if we have never experienced it?

Donated two large totes full of toys this morning.

The UMass Amherst Police Department and Amherst Police Department will be holding a toy drive on December 18th from 10am till 4pm outside the Hadley Walmart. Please come out and join us in making some kids season a little brighter. All donations will stay local, going to kids at The Bridge Center and Jessie's House.
