While the University is closed during this time, Centenary University and the community are virtually coming together in support of the American Cancer Society through Relay for Life! Honor students will be participating in a virtual relay where they will be assigned various tasks, activities, and challenges, virtually completing laps. With that being said, Centenary Honor students are continuing the fight against cancer through the Relay for Life Centenary Honors team and would love support from fellow members and those within the community to donate and join.

Here are some of Centenary University Honors students that will be returning as First Year Leaders in the Fall! A common question we receive is whether or not being a member within the Honors Program prevents students from participating in other programs or activities on campus. The answer is it DOES NOT. The Honors students love being involved on campus and this is one of many ways that they are!

These are a couple of Honors students at the Academic Symposium last Thursday! This is only a few of those who presented at the event. A special thank you to all of the incredible professors who have helped the Honors students in creating these projects.

Congratulations to a few of the Honors students for their leadership awards, and a special congratulations to Victoria Cattano for receiving The Douglas Wolfe Turrell Community Service Award! Getting involved in the community and taking on leadership roles outside of the Honors Program, as well as within, is a big part of what makes the Honors Program what it is today. One more special congratulation to Dr. Bergey, the Centenary Unversity Honors Program Director for Advisor of the Year! Without her, the program would not exist today... Thank you for all that you do both inside and outside of the classroom and beyond the Honors Program, Centenary University would not be what it is today without you! Thank you.

One of the most common responses to why the Honors Program is great to be involved in is because of the community of students it creates. We are always working together as a collaborative team, both on and off campus and Relay for Life is one example of that out of many!
