Our objective is to provide the citizens we serve with valuable information about our organization so that we may better serve our communities in keeping with the ideals of our Mission Statement.

Today, the Chiefs Association sponsored its yearly BBQ at the Paramus Veterans Home. Our association and the residents of the Veterans Home look forward to this event every year. Our association supports our veterans as well as this facility by hosting events, sponsoring construction projects, and any other needs of our veterans. Veterans are an integral part of our community and their sacrifices to our nation will always be remembered and appreciated!

And they are off! The annual Chief Jack Murphy Memorial Golf Outing has started. A beautiful day for golf at a stunning course. Congratulations to Chief Andrew McGurr on his retirement from the Teaneck Police Department! Chief McGurr is a fixture in our organization. His dedication, guidance, and sense of humor sustains our organization. Our organization is proud of his accomplishments and wish him the best in retirement!

Congratulations to Chief Sean Farrell on being sworn in as the new Rutherford Police Chief! Chief Farrell follows in the extraordinary footsteps of Chief John Russo.

A HUGE congratulations to Chief Russo, a police officer since 1999, a former President of the Bergen County Chief's Association, a former President of the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police, a former Chief Liaison to the Bergen County Rapid Deployment Force (during a time filled with civil unrest), a graduate of the 268th Session of the F.B.I. National Academy, a graduate of NJSACOP West Point Command and Leadership, and a NJSACOP Accredited Chief Executive.

Best of luck on all his future endeavors to Chief Russo and the association looks forward to working with Chief Sean Farrell!

Congratulations to Chief Robert Chamberlain on his retirement from the Tenafly Police Department! Chief Chamberlain has been not only a fixture in Tenafly but a huge asset to the association and a past president of the BCPCA! Chief Chamberlain is extremely active in our association helping to organize fundraising events, head of committees, and the definition of a gentleman and a professional.

Thank you, Chief Chamberlain. Congratulations on your well-deserved retirement. Thank you for your leadership, commitment, and everything you’ve done for Tenafly and our association!!!

We are so thrilled to congratulate Chief James Domville on his retirement from the Cresskill Police Department! Chief Domville has been a dedicated member of our association and executive board. His contributions to our association are many; he is a dedicated and appreciated member and above all, a true gentleman and mentor to many in our community. Congratulations and best of luck in your retirement!!!!
