Tax season is prime time for phone scams....beware, and if you can spare 2 minutes - help stop them.....all you've got to do is email the phone # that called you to IRS.

I know, they still haven't processed your 2020 return....but that's a different department 🤨

Taxpayers beware: Tax season is prime time for phone scams | Internal Revenue Service Tax Tip 2022-15, January 27, 2022 — With the new tax season starting this week, the IRS reminds taxpayers to be aware that criminals continue to make aggressive calls posing as IRS agents in hopes of stealing taxpayer money or personal information.

Not sure if it's what's going on in the country, with my clients, or the fact that my own daughter is getting closer to college age, but I am ALL OVER this issue lately. My fav line from this article:
