The Dragonflies are getting ready to go! 🧥

Our Dragonfly friends have been working hard on learning how to put on their coats independently, and their progress is showing! Look at them sitting on the classroom rug, dressed and ready to head outside.

Practicing everyday self-help skills like putting on a coat helps build independence, confidence, coordination, and fine motor skills. We are so proud of our Dragonflies for continuing to practice and becoming more independent each day! 🍂

💚A little visit with the Fireflies! Zoe from our Caterpillar Class joined the Firefly Class for snack time as she gets ready for her future transition from infant to toddler. 🧡

At Little Learners, we help make classroom transitions comfortable and familiar by giving our growing Caterpillars opportunities to spend short periods of time in the Firefly room. These visits allow them to get to know their future teachers, friends, routines, and environment little by little—helping make that big move feel a lot less big! 🐛🧡✨

🍎🎨 Apple colors in motion! The Bumblebee Class explored the different colors of apples and discovered that apples aren’t always just one color—some can be red, green, and yellow all at the same time!🐝

After our discussion, the Bumblebees rolled golf balls through red, green, and yellow paint, watching the colors move, overlap, and mix together. A fun hands-on way to bring our apple study into art! ❤️💚💛

🍎 Apple Tasting with Ms. Nikki’s Bumblebees! 🐝

As part of our apple study, the Bumblebees put their taste buds to the test! We sampled different types of apples and explored their colors, textures, and flavors. Some were sweet, some were tart, and everyone had a favorite!

Hands-on learning is extra fun when you can taste it! 🍏🍎🐝

We’re starting with the letter L! Our Butterflies are learning how to form letters using simple strokes while strengthening their fine motor skills, pencil control, and confidence as young writers.
