Connect Care is excited to announce the upcoming opening of a new infant room at our 305 McGregor Dr. location! The need for infant care in the Gypsum/Eagle area is overwhelming so we have decided to convert one of our rooms to try to help with this need. We, however, need your help.

This venture will cost about $10,000 to complete as we have to add additional sinks and purchase all the furniture and supplies for the new room. If you would like to help us achieve this, please consider a tax-deductible contribution to Connect Care. This contribution will help your fellow neighbor receive care for their child.

We pride ourselves on providing our employees with all the tools they need to succeed and further their career. We are currently looking to hire a teacher for our toddler or infant room (additional qualifications needed for infant teacher). We look forward to hearing from you!

Required Skills:

Skills Working with Children:
• Implement the provided Christian curriculum and complete lessons plans in advance.
• Create positive environment for all children, and lead the classroom with respect and patience.
• Speak to children regularly using positive phrases and tone.
• Participate in evaluations and assessments as required by Director.
• Plan and participate in family nights once a month.

Skills Working with Parents:
• Greet parents and guardians by name and with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Listen and respond well to parents and is tactful when discussing children.
• Regularly communicates with parents verbally and in writing as needed.

Sills Working in the Classroom:
• Read to children in small groups several times a day
• Develop and implement daily lesson plans based on Christian curriculum.
• Provide developmentally appropriate activities daily.
• Set up room before children arrive.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment.
• Rotate learning materials in and out on a regular basis.

Professional Conduct:
• Responsible for working when scheduled and punctual work attendance, including staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, open houses, and trainings.
• Responsible for completing required trainings and continuing education as required by Director.
• Completes all daily duties and other tasks as assigned.
• Open to building new skills and furthering education to increase knowledge of early childhood education.
• Dresses in provided uniform when at work.

Schedule: 7:30 – 5:30 (4 days a week).
