Excited to announce a deep dive into the Quantum world! ⚛️

I am thrilled to be co-facilitating a hands-on workshop alongside the brilliant Dr. Alice Flarend at the upcoming CSAAPT, AAPT-SEPS, and NJAAPT Spring Meeting!

Our mission? To bridge the gap between classical and quantum physics for K-12 educators. We’ll be moving beyond the theory and getting our hands on real-world demonstrations, including:

The Three-Polarizer Effect: A visual journey into quantum measurement.

Wave-Particle Duality: De-mystifying the nature of light.

Actionable Roadmaps: Providing teachers with a concrete plan to bring quantum tech into their own classrooms.

It is important to give back. I am excited to share that I will be presenting at STEM Night at Featherbed Lane Elementary School (BCPS) on Tuesday, February 2026, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. My presentation will focus on space and emerging technologies, offering students and families the opportunity to explore topics such as space science, nanotechnology, and quantum science, and to understand how these fields are interconnected. This event promises to be an engaging and inspiring experience for both students and parents.

Conduct Research this Summer for High School and Undergraduate!

Two opportunities to develop skills in emerging tech fields, including data science, quantum computing & cybersecurity, and apply those skills to real research mentored by industry professionals. Programs are free + provide a stipend for the first 150 accepted students. No prior experience required.

Students grades 9-11: Apply to the National High School Research Program with Columbia University and develop a full research project to showcase on your college apps! The program is virtual with live instruction. Learn more & apply: the-cs.org/nhsrp.
