📓✨ Learning how to plan is learning how to lead your life.

At The Meliora School, planners aren’t just for writing down assignments. Through our Life Navigator curriculum, learners are intentionally building the executive functioning skills they need to thrive—in school and beyond.

Each day, learners practice organizing their time, prioritizing tasks, setting goals, tracking responsibilities, and reflecting on their progress.

These skills don’t just happen. We teach them. We practice them. We build them into our day.

Because knowing how to learn, plan, and manage yourself is just as important as what you learn.

🔐💚 A Middle School Rite of Passage!

Today, our founding learners used their lockers for the very first time!

For many of them, having a locker is a brand-new experience—and today was all about practicing.

Turn right. Turn left. Pass the number. Start over. Try again. And eventually… CLICK!

It’s a small moment, but a big middle school milestone. New independence, new routines, and another first for our founding learners at The Meliora School.

It’s a fun filled morning including music, door prizes, snacks, awards, and fun for the whole family.

BONUS: This is a house competition! That means the house with the highest participation percentage wins 15 points!

Founders Made History. 💚

Today wasn’t just the first day of school.

Today, our founders made history.

Our founding learners and families walked through the doors of The Meliora School for the very first time, officially beginning a story that will be told for years to come.

From the incredible House Car Decorating Competition to the cheers, high-fives, smiles, and first-day excitement, our community showed up the Meliora Way—with joy, belonging, and a commitment to always pursue better.

Every decorated car, every house chant, every welcome, and every new friendship helped create a first day we’ll never forget.

To our founding families: thank you for believing in a school that had not yet opened its doors. Today, your belief became reality.

History isn’t just something you read about.

Sometimes, you get to build it.

A quick calendar reminder for our families!

Our first day of school is Monday, August 3. While other districts in the area may begin on a different date, our school year officially starts this Monday. We cannot wait to welcome our learners!
