🫧🚗 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐬 -𝐑- 𝐔𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐫 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐡! 🚲🧽

Our bikes and trikes were looking a little dirty, so our crew got right to work! With buckets, bubbles, sponges, and plenty of enthusiasm, the children scrubbed, rinsed, and shined their rides until they were ready to roll. 🫧✨

What looks like a simple car wash is really 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲—working together, using those big and little muscles, problem-solving, pretending, and experiencing the joy of a job well done.

And let's be real…when you mix 𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐬 + 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 + 𝐛𝐮𝐛𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬, the bikes aren't the only things getting washed! 😂💦

🍨 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐞, 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐚 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲

Today’s pick-up was a little sweeter! Our families stopped for a few extra minutes to build their perfect sundae—with all the toppings and, of course, a little umbrella on top! ☂️🍓🍫

We even had a 𝒔𝒐𝒐𝒏-𝒕𝒐-𝒃𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒆𝒓 𝑲𝒊𝒅𝒔 -𝑹- 𝑼𝒔 𝒌𝒊𝒅𝒅𝒐 jump in to help with our ice cream tattoos—and she enlisted a friend to help too! 💕

Sundaes, tattoos, smiles, and a little extra family time. 🍨 Making sweet memories, one scoop at a time.

Today we celebrate Miss Taylor and 7 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒍𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒏 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒏 𝒂𝒕 𝑲𝒊𝒅𝒔 -𝑹- 𝑼𝒔!

Over the years, we have watched her grow not only as an educator, but as an important part of our team. Her willingness to jump in, support others, and pivot wherever she is needed is part of what makes her such an asset to our Kids -R- Us family.

Seven years means a lot of little lives touched, relationships built, memories made, and learning through play.

Our little gardeners have been busy caring for our school garden—watering, checking on what’s growing, and learning that good things take a little time, patience, and care. 💦🌿
It may look like play, but around here… this is the important work of childhood.

Who says a slide is only for sliding? 😊
Today, we reimagined one of our favorite playground features by adding a little paint, paper, and cars. Suddenly, our slide became a ramp for exploring motion, speed, gravity, cause and effect, and problem-solving—all through play.

At Kids -R-Us, we love looking at everyday materials through the eyes of a child because learning doesn't always require something new… sometimes it just requires a new way of thinking.

Sunshine, fresh air, and lunch with friends… what a wonderful way to spend a summer afternoon!
Today, our youngest learners enjoyed lunch on the playground before heading inside for a restful nap. There’s something special about sharing a meal outdoors, listening to the birds, feeling the breeze, and soaking in another beautiful Upper Peninsula summer day.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our "𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐳𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬" family engagement event! There was plenty of squeezing, stirring, smiling, and sweet conversations as our kiddos made homemade lemonade with someone special.
These are the moments we love most—slowing down, making memories, and celebrating the important people in our children's lives.
