Meet the Team Monday! Today, we’re sending a massive welcome to Emilie Hill, the brand-new Media Specialist at our brand-new school, Creekside Elementary School!

While the school building is new, Emilie is no stranger to ECSD or elementary education! She has been a part of our district for 8 years and previously served as a teacher at Ebenezer Elementary.

Emilie and her clerk, Mrs. Molly Burns, have been hard at work getting the Creekside library completely ready for student orientation and book check-outs this week. But her impact doesn't stop in the library! Emilie is also helping capture school memories on the yearbook team and managing Creekside’s official social media page!

When she isn't powering up school spirit or organizing books, Emilie loves to stay active and exercise in her free time.

Running regular updates ensures your devices have the newest features and function exactly as they should. Plus, keeping your Chrome browser updated is one of the easiest ways to keep our school network safe, secure, and running smoothly.

Here are two quick habits to start today:
1️⃣ The Full Shutdown: Don't just close the lid! Properly shutting down your Chromebook triggers those essential pending updates.
2️⃣ Don't Click "Remind Me Later": When you see an update notification pop up on your browser or desktop, take a minute to apply it.
