Our amazing students need your help!

On October 17th, South Effingham Bands will be hosting our yearly band competition - the Marching Mustang Invitational - at South Effingham High School.

We need alumni, friends of the band, and interested community members to help by loaning equipment and volunteering! We also have some ways to financially support the competition in a way that will increase the profit we make from tickets and concessions.

The Marching Mustangs have to raise $60,000 over the next four years to pay for our new uniforms, and that’s not all we pay for each season—there is paying a driver and truck to pull our trailer, instrument repair, props, adjunct instructors, and more.

Come see the Mustangs scrimmage with Statesboro tonight at 7:30! While you’re there, come by the concession stand to support the band. In addition to our normal offerings, we will also have Dippin Dots and iced coffee tonight!

A thunderstorm isn’t slowing down these marchers. Practice time in the cafeteria and these kids sound amazing! We can’t wait to see you all for the preview show on Thursday at 7:00.

We, the SEHS band is in need of a local owner/operator of a tractor trailer truck to pull our band trailer to away events (games, competitions, etc). We thought we had someone, but we do not and now we are really scrambling. If you know of anyone local who owns a truck OR have connections OR can recommend a local trucking company, please comment below with contact information! We are willing to pay competitive rates to a reliable, trustworthy, licensed and insured company.

🎶✨ Support South Effingham Jazz Night! ✨🎶

The South Effingham High School Band is getting ready for our annual Jazz Night, and we’re reaching out to our amazing Effingham County community for support!

We are currently collecting donations for our Silent Auction, and we would love your help in making this event a huge success. All proceeds go directly toward supporting our hardworking band students with equipment, travel, and program needs.

🎁 We’re looking for donations such as:
• Gift baskets
• Gift cards (restaurants, retail, services)
• Event tickets
• Merchandise or services from local businesses
• Unique experiences (lessons, sessions, etc.)

No donation is too big or too small—everything helps!

📅 Donation Deadline: April 3
📍 Items can be dropped off at South Effingham High School or we can arrange pickup.
