October is a busy month at Sand Hill, and we have lots of opportunities to get involved! Whether you can give a little time or a lot, we’d love to have you join us!

🍎 October 7 | Teacher Lunch
Help us serve lunch and show some love to our amazing teachers!

🛒 October 16 | Hornet Cart
Help run the Hornet Cart and celebrate our students for their hard work and great choices!

❤️ October 21 | Para Lunch Takeover
Help cover lunch duty so our amazing paraprofessionals can enjoy a well-deserved lunch break!

🛒 October 23 | Hornet Cart
Help run the Hornet Cart and celebrate our students for their hard work and great choices!

🎃 October 23 | Fall Festival
Join us behind the scenes and help keep all the Fall Festival fun running smoothly!

🍬 October 23 | Trunk or Treat
Decorate a trunk and help us create a fun Trunk or Treat Lane for our students! Candy will be provided for all registered trunks!

🍿 October 29 | Bagging Popcorn for CURE
Join us to help bag popcorn for CURE!

Every volunteer makes a difference, and we appreciate every bit of time you’re able to give!

Which grade will feed the monster the MOST candy? It’s time to find out! We are collecting candy donations for our upcoming Fall Festival Trunk or Treat! Each grade level will compete to donate the most pounds of candy. The winning grade will score a special reward! 🏆🎉

📅 Dates: October 1 – October 22
📍 Goal: Feed the Candy Monster & earn major bragging rights for your grade!

Buzzing for a CURE fundraiser!! 🐝 💛

CURE T-SHIRT FUNDRAISER! 💛🐝

We are so excited to support CURE Childhood Cancer with our very own Sand Hill Hornets T-shirt! 🎗️

A HUGE thank you to Say Grace Designs for creating such an amazing design for us! We absolutely love it! 🐝💛

👕 Shirts are $20 each
🎗️ $6 from every shirt sold will be donated directly to CURE!
📅 Order deadline: October 9th

Students will be able to wear their CURE shirts on Fridays with uniform bottoms throughout the school year!💛

We hope to see you at the pole tomorrow morning at 7am! Pastor Luke from Pineora Baptist Church will be joining us for devotional and prayer.

School flagpoles across the nation will be surrounded by students, parents, and school staff uniting in prayer tomorrow morning—and your kids won't want to miss it!

Here is what you need to know for See You at the Pole:

📍 Where: Sand Hill Elementary

⏰ When: Wednesday, September 23rd, 7:00 a.m.

📱 Who: All students, parents, and school staff are welcome to gather and pray for our schools, teachers, and nation.
