Took a group riding recently, it was a beautiful day! We saw birds, butterflies, trees galore, and wide open meadows! All while riding on horseback.

I am a veteran homeschool mother myself, homeschooling both of our sons through graduation from high school.

I also ran a homeschool Private School for Contra Costa Christian Schools (K-12th grade), a college prep on-campus school for 9 years. So strange to think about a lot of my original students being in high school, and even some in college. What a blessing to have worked with so many children & families, I am truly blessed. Thank you to you all...you know who you are!

Simple learning tools...regrowing veggies from food scraps. There's so many you can regrow, this is just 2, I think there's upwards of 16-20. Try it and have your children keep a daily growth journal & observations.

Hello and welcome to those who have just found our page! Let me introduce myself, I am a veteran homeschool mom who loves to teach! Are you looking for someone to take over in a particular area of your student's learning? Do you need & want to get outside more, but you're not sure how to incorporate learning in the "out of doors"? Well, I would be happy to encourage you along the way. Being the sole provider of everything your children need can be exhausting. However, whether you are looking for specific help in a particular area of learning, or whether you want to try some outdoor learning, I am always interested in helping others on their homeschooling journey!

You can find me on the various trails where we relocated near Savannah, Ga. Tybee Island has a beautiful shoreline where we recently watched pelicans feeding in the ocean before us. There are dolphin tour boats, turtle rescue nearby, horseback riding on the beach and at nearby riding stables. Please reach out if you would like to join me for a field trip, hike, or private classes in my home.

If you would like references, please let me know. I was the Director of the PSP at Contra Costa Christian Schools for 9 years, and taught and directed in the theater realm there as well. I also worked as a teaching aide at Antioch Charter Academy for 10 years. Teaching children about God's incredible creation is truly a passion of mine.

Thinking about my own homeschooling days today, wondering how many of you have ever been introduced "officially" to Charlotte Mason? The Lord used many of Charlotte's ideas to free us from "just doing academics" at home to learning in a more natural way. She was the "Montessori" of England.
