She got to select a brand new book from the media center to take home to give to her new baby sister. It's exciting to be able to spread a love of reading to our newest mini mustangs! Welcome to the world little mustang!

Mrs. Martin’s 5th grade ELA classes stepped into the courtroom as student attorneys with supporting details and evidence to defend the main idea in their assigned expository text cases. Students formed individual law firms and worked collaboratively to build strong evidence based arguments before the court. Each team presented its defense before the judge, putting their ELA skills into action in a unique and engaging way. 👩🏽‍⚖️📖📚

This past week in STEM our engineers put their problem-solving skills to the test with an Engineering Design Challenge! Students designed and built bridges while exploring how balanced forced help structures stay strong and stable.

From designing to testing (and a few rebuilds along the way 😉), our young engineers learned that great engineering is all about thinking, testing, and trying again!

Mrs. Patterson’s class took on an important job this week as our school’s chicken tenders! 🐔 These little helpers made sure our school chickens were fed and had plenty of fresh water.

We are so proud of our Mini Mustangs for showing responsibility, kindness, and being the best chicken tenders around! 💦🌽🐓
