We are thrilled to have John Coblentz's latest book available for purchase! John has said for many years that the best thing we can do to help people is to know Jesus ourselves. This new book, "Come and See" comes out of John's deep desire for all of us to encounter the person of Jesus. Out of that encounter, we become more who God intends us to be.
"Come and See" is available for purchase at Christian Learning Resource.
Also, watch this space for John's next book coming later this year!

One of our favorite activities of late summer evenings is watching the chimney swifts swirling around us before roosting in our chimney above the kitchen. They circle, dip, and chatter above us then drop one by one into their bed. It is beautiful and deeply moving to be immersed in this wonder every evening!

Joseph Miller, our math and science teacher, videoed their flights one evening, then stacked the stills into a photo. A few days later Dallas Penner, FBCS teacher, captured a similar shot at the close of a glowing sunset. Thanks, Joseph and Dallas, for combining your artistic and technical skills to share these photos with us!

In the two years they're here, it is humbling to sit with our students, hear their dreams, and encourage their growth. Our hope for them is not that they will become world changers or great influencers, but that they will turn their love toward God and their neighbors in the small, hidden ways that mirror Jesus’ love.

Maybe a young person in your life would benefit from your affirmation or encouragement as they think about their future. You might:
• Affirm their vision for service and name a particular area of strength or potential.
• Suggest they attend Open House or Winter Term at Faith Builders.
• Send us their name and contact information as a potential student.

Applications for next Fall Semester are available. We are excited about the new group of students that is already shaping up for 2027!
