🐝🌼 **Happy Honey Bee Awareness Day!** 🌼🐝

Today we're celebrating some of the hardest workers in nature—**honey bees!** These tiny insects do BIG jobs that help our world bloom. 🌸💛

🐝 **Buzz-Worthy Fun Facts:**
🍯 One honey bee makes only about **1/12 of a teaspoon of honey** in its entire lifetime!
🌼 Bees help pollinate about **1 out of every 3 bites of food** we eat, including apples, strawberries, pumpkins, and cucumbers.
👑 Every hive has **one queen bee**, and she can lay **up to 2,000 eggs in a single day!**
💃 Honey bees do a special **"waggle dance"** to tell other bees where to find flowers.
👀 Bees can see colors differently than we do—even some colors humans can't see!
🏡 A healthy hive can have **20,000–60,000 bees** working together.

💛 This weekend, see if you can spot a bee visiting flowers in your yard or at the park. Remember to look, but don't touch—they're busy helping plants grow!

🇺🇸❤️ **Happy Navajo Code Talkers Day!** ❤️🇺🇸

Today we honor the brave **Navajo Code Talkers**, who helped our country during World War II.

Using the Navajo language, they created a special code to send important messages. Because the code was so difficult for others to understand, it helped keep soldiers safe and played an important role in protecting our country.

💙 Kid-Friendly Facts:
⭐ The Code Talkers were members of the Navajo Nation.
⭐ They used their Native language to create a secret code.
⭐ Their messages helped save lives.
⭐ They showed great courage, teamwork, and kindness by serving others.

Today is a wonderful reminder that our differences make us stronger. Every language, culture, and tradition has something special to teach us.

🌿🌧️ Rainforest Adventures in Our Preschool Classroom! 🦜🌴

Our preschool friends have been busy exploring the amazing rainforest through art, creativity, and hands-on learning! 💚

🎨 We got messy with Rainforest Finger Painting, creating colorful rainforest scenes while strengthening fine-motor skills and exploring different textures.

☁️ We created Cloudy Rainforest Crafts with cotton balls and blue paint while learning how rain helps keep the rainforest green, lush, and full of life.

🌳 And our little explorers built their own Kapok Trees using paper towel rolls and colorful paper while learning about one of the incredible trees found in the Amazon rainforest!

Through each activity, our preschoolers are building creativity, fine-motor skills, sensory awareness, and knowledge of the world around them—all while having FUN! 🌎🌱

Our preschool classroom is growing its own little rainforest, one masterpiece at a time! 🌿🐒🦜🌳✨

☄️ The Perseids happen every year as Earth passes through tiny pieces of debris left behind by **Comet Swift-Tuttle**.
🌠 Meteors can streak across the sky at speeds of up to **37 miles per second!**

Today we're celebrating one of the biggest—and most amazing—animals on Earth! 🌍💚

🎉 **Elephant Fun Facts for Kids:**
🐘 An elephant's trunk has over **40,000 muscles** and can be used to drink, smell, grab food, and even give hugs!
👂 Their giant ears help keep them cool, just like a built-in fan.
🧠 Elephants have incredible memories and can recognize family members even after many years apart.
👶 Baby elephants can weigh around **250 pounds** when they're born—that's heavier than many grown-ups!
💧 Elephants LOVE water and enjoy swimming, splashing, and taking muddy baths to protect their skin.
❤️ Elephant families stay together and help care for one another, just like a team.
