The future is looking SO bright for Guthrie FFA! 💙💛
These kids have worked their tails off, and we couldn't be more proud of them!

Our freshmen have put in the HOURS preparing for the Opening Ceremonies Contest. Early mornings, lunch breaks, late evenings, and everything in between. While they didn't walk away with the outcome they were hoping for, they walked away with something just as valuable. They learned about themselves, about teamwork, about commitment, and about what it takes to keep showing up even when things get hard. They're already talking about what's NEXT!

Now, let's talk about these THREE 8th graders! 💙
These girls showed up, worked hard, pulled together, and brought home 3RD PLACE with only a THREE-PERSON TEAM!

They stepped outside their comfort zone and did a hard thing.

We are so proud.

Congratulations to Guthrie FFA member Sadie Plagg for being selected the Reserve Champion Overall Heifer Showman at the Tulsa State Fair. Earlier this week she was the Reserve Champion overall steer Showman.

Proud of this team for their 4th place finish at the Lone Grove Opening and Closing Ceremonies contest tonight. Looking forward to our regional contest on Tuesday.

These students have been putting in a great deal of practice time and a lot of miles on the road this Opening and Closing Ceremonies contest season. We are sure proud of these teams for how they’ve represented our chapter and their continued improvement at each contest. Just a few more contests left for them this season.

The meat order pickup from our recent meat sale will be next Weds Sept 30 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. We have had to alter the pickup method and location due to current construction of our new greenhouse. We have attached a map that details how you enter the line to pickup your orders and then exit. Please, Please, Please be patient as we process the orders and load them out. This is a new method, new location, and there are details we will be working out to be effective and efficient as possible. You will line up, someone will get your name and radio that in to the order processing area and then when you pull up to the building we will load your car. Please do not come into the building as space is limited. Feel free to get out and count the order as they load it so that you have your accurate count. You will then sign off that you received your order. From there exit around the building and out the transportation entrance. We feel that this will be a good flow to help make this go as smoothly as possible. We need everyone to pick up their order as we have no space to store orders. If you have questions please reach out as soon as possible so that we can get them answered. DO NOT COME TO THE AG BUILDING ORDERS WILL NOT BE THERE!
