We're on summer break! Last week we had our graduation celebration and final family festival of the school year with the theme being the WWII era, as that is where we left off in our history studies. In the fall we start our classical education 4 year cycle over with ancient history. Think Egyptian pyramids and Chinese dynasties!

Our Logic Science class grew veggie and fruit plants from seed for a plant fundraiser. Thank you to everyone's purchases and donations, they raised $693! They were able to use the money and plenty of elbow grease, to make improvements to the parish's Mary Grotto, located behind the old Montessori house.

Each quarter students are to present a history project based on the time period we are studying. This group of students collaborated to make this short about Oklahoma's land rush.

Thank you to the Oklahoma Territorial Museum for allowing us to use their mural for a backdrop! Visit the museum for Oklahoma history!

Yesterday we had our third quarter festival with lots of wonderful history presentations, activities, and colonial era potluck!

Our Logic science class has been preparing for a fundraiser veggie plant sale. Yesterday Jennifer Whorton Husmann of Ladybug Lane Flower Farm visited us and gave us a wonderful presentation with lots of great information and supplies to help us get a good start. Thank you for your time and talent Jennifer! Follow Ladybug Lane Flower Farm for locally grown flowers and u-picks at her farm.

Save the date and room in your garden for our plant sale after St. Mary Masses on April 18 and 19! All plants are heirloom and organic.

Last night's Living Nativity and Victorian Walk was amazing! The children were all wonderful even with the very chilly temps. This year we counted the number of souls that entered the Apothecary Garden that witnessed our scene, 1247! Plus with their help, we raised $259 for Crossroads Clinic of Guthrie!
