Busy week at GUES!
Everyone made beautiful paper flowers during enrichment time on Wednesday as we continue to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month, over 100 students walked to school for National Walk to School Day, many 5th graders shared some coco and conversation with Officer Williams and a couple of his friends for Coffee with a Cop Day, and we finished off the week with the GLOW Party Friday night!

Yesterday, Dr. Regina Lopez and Dr. April Haulman from UCO visited with GUES students to help us celebrate Hispanic Heritage Celebration month.
They played mariachi music and taught songs and history. Students were able to play instruments and get up and dance. It was a whole lot of fun!
The students were so good!
