Not trying to brag (ok, maybe we are) but we have one of the best pie makers in the county working at Little Chargers. She was kind enough yesterday to pass along her knowledge to the school age class. Thanks Miss Laurin, the pies were delicious!!!

The big kids got to hang out on Mrs Kimla's farm today. We had so much fun petting the donkeys, goats, ducks, chicks and turkeys. We had a dance party, played games and made pizza. The kids loved learning what was in the garden and trying new things (including jalapeños for a few brave souls).

We have been very blessed this year with some amazing community grants. Thanks to Guthrie County Community Foundation , Iowa Child Care Resource & Referral , Partnerships 4 Families and a very generous private donor, we have been able to complete our toddler playground, get shades for both playgrounds, and enrich our toddler program. We know it takes a village, we couldn't do it without you!
