It is heartbreaking to share Mr. Ralph Passero a 9th Degree Black Belt from Isshin Ryu in New Jersey has passed on.
A dedicated martial artist for over 50 years, he was not only a pillar of our community but also a close friend of Grandmaster Chirico and a devoted student under Grandmaster Nagel. His impact, discipline, and spirit will continue to live on through every student he inspired.

Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

🥋 Gruber’s Karate Schedule Update

Martial arts teaches many values — and one of the most important is Respect.
Out of respect for the Rector, Gruber’s Karate will be closed on Ash Wednesday, February 18th.

Classes will resume on our normal schedule next Monday and Wednesday.

Because Lent Services begin the following Wednesday, Gruber’s Karate will be meeting in the back room of the church on Wednesday's until after Easter Sunday.
