IMPORTANT COMMUNITY UPDATE

Today, we were contacted by a representative from the Marshall County Council on Aging and informed that AMC Inc. will not be permitted to provide lunch at the Grant Senior Center this Friday. We were told that someone contacted the agency and falsely claimed that our organization is a scam and does not follow through on its commitments.

These accusations are both disappointing and harmful. AMC Inc. has consistently worked to serve individuals and families throughout our communities. Unfortunately, spreading false information does not only affect our organization—it directly affects the senior citizens who were expecting to receive lunch this Friday.

We sincerely apologize to the seniors at the Grant Senior Center. We were prepared and looking forward to serving you, but the decision to cancel our visit was outside our control.

We encourage anyone with questions about AMC Inc. to contact us directly, review our official information, or visit our website before believing or repeating unverified claims. We remain committed to operating with integrity, transparency, and compassion, and we will continue working to serve the communities that depend on our programs.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM AMC INC.

It has been brought to our attention that someone is spreading false information claiming that AMC Inc. is not a legitimate organization or is operating as a scam. We encourage everyone to verify information directly with us rather than relying on rumors or unverified sources.

AMC Inc. is a legally established, independent nonprofit organization with the required federal, state, and IRS identification and registration information. We are our own entity and are not affiliated with or operated by any school system.

We provide educational, literacy, workforce-development, and community-support programs through online classes, in-person instruction, mobile outreach, and community events. Our programs are designed to serve individuals and families who need additional assistance and resources.

We know school is about to be in session! Spend one more fun night with the family before school starts back up!
Usually bowling is $35 per lane per hour. With this deal, you get the lane, a pizza, a pitcher of sodas, and a $10 arcade card for just $45. So you're basically feeding the family for free!

One Month to Go! 🎉📚❤️

Tomorrow marks ONE MONTH until our Rock the Block Back-to-School Event, and I wanted to share a little of our story.

Back in 2013, I started these back-to-school events because I saw families who needed help getting their children ready for school. From day one, our goal has been simple: provide programs, school supplies, and support to families at absolutely no cost. That mission hasn't changed, and it never will.

Mark and I have called this community home for the past 12 years, and we don't plan on going anywhere. We've built lifelong friendships here, and this community has become family. We truly appreciate the love and support you've shown us over the years.

Many people have asked why we're no longer located at the Water Board building, so I wanted to give everyone an update.

We were informed that the school was planning to purchase the building and surrounding property and that we would likely need to relocate. We were told a decision would be made by May, so we weren't guaranteed that we would have a place to continue operating. Other than a wonderful local realtor who tried to help us, we really didn't have anyone assisting us in finding another location.

Rather than risk spending money on a building we might lose, we made the difficult decision to invest our resources into taking Asbury Media Center mobile. While it wasn't the path we expected, it allows us to continue serving families throughout the communities we love while we search for the right property to purchase or build our permanent home.

Lock Dwn Ranch Outreach, the nonprofit Mark and I founded in 2013, continues to serve as the fiscal sponsor for Asbury Media Center, and our vision is bigger than ever. We hope to expand into additional communities across the counties we serve so even more families can benefit from our educational, literacy, workforce development, and community outreach programs.

We're still here.
We're still serving.
And we're just getting started.
