🚍 Gunter ISD Transportation Department Announcement: Bus Compass is Now Available!

We're excited to announce that Bus Compass is now live! This free mobile app allows parents and guardians to track their student's school bus in real time, making morning pickups and afternoon drop-offs easier than ever.

With Bus Compass, you can:
🚌 View your student's bus location in real time
📍 Know when the bus is approaching your stop
⏰ Eliminate the guesswork from pickup and drop-off times
📱 Stay connected with reliable transportation updates right from your smartphone.

Getting Started:
✅ Download the Bus Compass app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
✅ Register using the same email address or phone number that is on file with Gunter ISD. This information is securely matched with our student information system to connect you to your student's bus route.

🚌 Transportation Updates for the New School Year! 🚌

It’s almost time for our Tigers to catch the bus again! We are excited for the upcoming school year and want to share a few important updates to keep you informed:

✅ Streamlined Registration: Moving forward, all transportation registration is managed directly through the Parent Portal—no extra forms needed. If you completed the transportation section when registering your student, you’re all set!

📱 New Bus Tracking App Coming Soon: We are currently rolling out upgraded routing and camera software to enhance student safety. Once routes are finalized, we will share instructions (likely by the end of the week) on how to download a new app to track your student’s bus in real time, set proximity alerts, and receive delay notifications.

Safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your patience as we launch this new system.

Happy School Bus Driver Appreciation Day to this incredible group! Our students are truly fortunate to have Mr. Trevor, Mrs. Gina, Mr. Robby, Mr. Nick, Mr. Steve, Mr. Ken, and Mrs. Danielle safely transporting them to and from school each day. The care, dedication, and commitment they show—ensuring our students arrive safely not only to school but to events and activities all year long—do not go unnoticed.
