Hey everyone, what’s up! First and foremost I would like to say, “thank you,” to those who voted and soon to be registered voters, poll workers and election workers; community groups, organizations, and members for investing their time ensuring we could participate in our civic duty and experience memorable election. They definitely deserve an applause 👏🏾.

There seems to be a lot for us to process following 2024 election, rather you vote Democrat, Independent or Republican we all should take the time to reflect on our thoughts and feelings. There may be judgement passed, side-eyes, dismissive and disturbing comments and statements made—-do you expect anything less? Pull your chest up, straighten up your shoulders and hold your head high. Tell yourself, “I got this.” At some point only so much can be said. We must continue to build relationships and support each other. Love and kindness is universal. Let’s continue to pull together and lift each up!

Someone asked me if set any new year (NY) resolution goals. I laughed and said no. I don’t believe in that stuff nor do I participate. They chuckled and asked why. I responded with, “it’s simple, we should set goals and strive to accomplish them regardless of a NY. Hell, I still have goals to finish from 2022 not including last year.” Lol. But that’s just me though 🤷🏾‍♀️. All I’m saying is make sure your goals are Specific, Measurable, Achievable or Attainable, Reasonable or Realistic, and Timely or time specific (S.M.A.R.T.).
