🎥 From the Classroom to the Film Festival! 🎬

Huge congratulations to Mrs. Lee's incredible 8th-grade science class! 🌟

They teamed up with the Walter Anderson Museum of Art (WAMA) and filmmaker Anthony Williams who created a captivating documentary. The film goes behind the scenes, documenting the hard work, creativity, and science that went into their National Geographic Slingshot submissions.

As a massive bonus, this amazing documentary was officially screened at the FishEye Film Festival last week! 🏆🍿

BVMS National Junior Honor Society and Student Council joined up for an “end of the year” hangout at Hippie Fish last night. They took on some mini golf for some friendly competition to kick off our summer!

Free summer meals are now available! ☀️🍎

Beginning now through July 17, the Gulfport School District Child Nutrition Department will provide free breakfast and lunch for children 18 and under (and 21 and under for students with disabilities) at select school locations across the district.

No registration is required. Adult lunches are available for $3.75.

We are thrilled to share that the incredible work our students created during their Wide Horizon Science Field Trip earlier this year will be on display! This special exhibition, "Wide Horizons," is a unique blend of science and art, showcasing the results of their hand-on learning.

Come celebrate our talented young minds at the Walter Anderson Museum of Art. It's a true fusion of observation, experimentation, and creativity.

GAME ON 🏐 Three days. Three grade levels. Tons of fun!

Our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders brought the energy to this year’s grade level Volleyball Tournament! The competition was fierce, the teamwork was impressive, and even the teachers couldn’t get enough of the fun!

What a great way to celebrate student success and the end of another great year together! 🎉
