Free summer meals are now available! ☀️🍎

Beginning now through July 17, the Gulfport School District Child Nutrition Department will provide free breakfast and lunch for children 18 and under (and 21 and under for students with disabilities) at select school locations across the district.

No registration is required. Adult lunches are available for $3.75.

Incoming PreK and Kindergarten students registered for the 2026–2027 school year are encouraged to attend for a fun week of learning, routines, and getting ready for a great school year ahead. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day. 💙

Last week, we welcomed back members of the Class of 2026 to Gulfport Central Middle School for one final walk through the halls where so many memories were made. Our 8th-grade students received an exciting introduction to the world of engineering from employees at Austal USA!

Students learned about career opportunities in engineering and drafting through hands-on activities involving 2D and 3D drawings, perspective drawings, piping, circuits, buoyancy systems, chemical mixing, and other engineering-related tasks.

We were thrilled to welcome Austal USA for an engaging afternoon that gave our students a closer look at the many possibilities within the engineering field! 💙

Fifth graders toured Gulfport Central Middle School as they prepare for the next step in their educational journey. Students explored campus, met staff, and got a firsthand look at middle school life ahead of the new school year in July! 💙 🧡
