🐊 It’s alligator mating season, and our resident American Alligators are making themselves heard! 🐊
If you hear a deep rumbling sound across the habitat, that’s called bellowing a vocalization used to attract mates and establish territory. 🔊
During this time, part of the habitat has been temporarily roped off as our alligators protect their nest. 🐊
These natural behaviors are an important part of the breeding season, and the restricted area helps keep both our guests and animals safe. 🫶
