For My Piano Students and Parents!!
Most of the time you hear me or another pianist playing, you hear the finished product, and it’s rare to see the beginning stages of that. At the beginning of this summer I wanted to take on a piece that was
1️⃣ New to me
2️⃣ Familiar to most, and most of all
3️⃣ Just fun to play!
“The Entertainer” or ice cream truck song was perfect! It’s challenged me to improve my technique and gives me an opportunity to track what progress may look like!
SO for my piano parents, please show this to your kiddos before next Saturday’s Summer performance to see a little more real life practice and let them know every song has to start somewhere even for those who’ve played for years and years!
