Public Safety Cadets Post 327, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office

Today our Cadets had the opportunity to learn about handling a burglary in progress!

A huge thank you to one of our Deputies for taking the time to come out and share valuable knowledge, experience, and tactics with our Cadets. The Cadets learned about officer safety, scene management, and the importance of clear communication during these high-risk calls.

Merry Christmas from Harrison County Public Safety Cadets

Last night, our Cadets had their annual Christmas Party. We thank the parents for trusting us to teach and mentor their children. To our Cadets, you have done a great job this year. Keep it up, and here's to a hopeful 2025. Also, to our Advisors, thank you for the time and energy you put into this program. It could not be done without you. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Enjoy your holidays; you have all earned it.

Just on update on us

Just Cadets learning about search and seizures, and fourth amendment rights

On Monday our Cadet's learned the importance of the use of force continuum and how fast the levels of force can change, as well as practicing basic handcuffing.

Last night, our Cadets learned about active shooter events and practiced some room entry. We have a lot of new faces and a lot of work to do, but with our great instructors and our Cadet's great attitude, we will see quick improvements. Good job, Cadets, and welcome aboard.
