✨ Faculty Spotlight: Nicole Brown, RVT, RDCS, RDMS ✨

Meet Nicole Brown, one of our dedicated Diagnostic Medical Sonography instructors at Blue Cliff College–Gulfport!

A proud Mississippi Gulf Coast native, Nicole brings more than 10 years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography to the classroom. As a registered RVT, RDCS, and RDMS professional, she's passionate about preparing the next generation of sonographers through hands-on learning, mentorship, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

When she's not teaching, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, creating beautiful laser-crafted art and décor, and cooking for the people she loves—especially her famous spinach dip!

Her advice to current and future sonography students:
"Stay dedicated, humble, and never stop learning. Sonography requires technical skill, critical thinking, compassion, and perseverance. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow, and behind every image is a patient counting on you. Take pride in your work, ask questions, embrace feedback, and always strive to become the best sonographer you can be."

Blue Cliff College–Gulfport was honored to partner with Coast Life for their 8th Annual Back-to-School Event, helping more than 100 local families prepare for a successful school year.📚✂️

Our students, alumni, faculty, and staff volunteered over 125 hours, providing complimentary haircuts, hairline lineups, hair tinsel, nail polish, face painting, and school supplies to children across our community. It was an incredible opportunity for our future professionals to use their skills beyond the classroom and make a meaningful impact.

Thank you to Coast Life, Community Activations Network, our volunteers, and every family who joined us. Together, we're building confidence, creating connections, and showing what it means to serve our community.
