Dᴇᴅɪᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ ᴏꜰ Sᴄʜᴏᴏʟs: Father in Heaven, today we dedicate all the schools in our state and nation to You. From pre-schools to high schools, vocational schools, colleges, universities, and all homeschools and private schools, we ask that You be Lord over every classroom and every student. May Your presence guide and bless these institutions.

Iɴᴠɪᴛᴀᴛɪᴏɴ ᴏꜰ Gᴏᴅ's Pʀᴇsᴇɴᴄᴇ: Lord, we invite You and the power of Your Holy Spirit into every classroom in our state and nation. We open the door to Your transforming presence and ask that You make Your home in our schools, bringing Your guidance and wisdom to every student, teacher, and administrator.

Iɴᴄᴏʀᴘᴏʀᴀᴛɪᴏɴ ᴏꜰ Tʀᴜᴛʜ ᴀɴᴅ Rɪɢʜᴛᴇᴏᴜsɴᴇss﹕ Heavenly Father, we welcome Your truth and righteousness into our school curriculums. May Your love and peace fill the atmosphere of our schools, creating an environment where Your principles are honored and upheld.

Eᴍʙʀᴀᴄᴇ ᴏꜰ Bɪʙʟɪᴄᴀʟ Vᴀʟᴜᴇs﹕ Lord, we pray that our schools will embrace biblical values and operate on the principles of our constitution. May we protect the rights of the weak and the “least of these,” and ensure that freedom of speech and religion are upheld in our classrooms.

Uᴘʜᴏʟᴅɪɴɢ Cʜʀɪsᴛɪᴀɴ Sᴛᴜᴅᴇɴᴛs' Rɪɢʜᴛs﹕ Father, we ask that You ensure our teachers and administrators will be equitable, acting with integrity and fairness towards all students and colleagues, including those with Christian beliefs. We ask that there be no animosity or antagonism. We declare, in Jesus' name, that Your truth and principles will be respected and honored in every aspect of our educational system.

Dᴇᴅɪᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ ᴏꜰ Eᴅᴜᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ Sʏsᴛᴇᴍs﹕ We dedicate the State Department of Education, the State Board of Education, our County Education Agencies, and our district governing boards to You, Lord. Guide and direct these bodies to make godly decisions that impact our educational system.

Bʟᴇssɪɴɢ ꜰᴏʀ Sᴜᴘᴇʀɪɴᴛᴇɴᴅᴇɴᴛs﹕ Lord, we lift up our state superintendent and all district superintendents to You. Grant them Your wisdom and discernment as they lead and guide our schools this year.

Oᴘᴘᴏʀᴛᴜɴɪᴛʏ ꜰᴏʀ Sᴀʟᴠᴀᴛɪᴏɴ﹕ Father God, we pray that every young person will have the opportunity to hear the message of Jesus Christ's love and salvation this school year. Open their hearts and minds to Your truth and grace.

Cᴏᴍᴍɪᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ ᴛᴏ Sᴜᴘᴘᴏʀᴛ﹕ Lord, we commit to supporting our young people with fervent prayer and service. Enable us to ensure that all students have what they need to fulfill their God-given destinies. Make us a source of encouragement and strength for them throughout this school year.

The MS Aquarium was a fun last field trip! Beautiful place with very knowledgeable staff.

Year one is officially done! 2023-24 school year was a tremendous success in a LOT of ways! Most importantly, these two young‘uns finished off the year each showing growth of 35 points in reading!!! I’m beyond impressed with their progress!

I wish there was a test that I could take to show MY growth this year in school leadership, running a business, bookkeeping, the list goes on and on!!! I suppose the best measure of success is the smiles on these faces and their willingness to return next year and do it all over again! 💙🩶

WARNING! Photo cuteness overload! KLA escaped to the farm! Triple R Farms Hattiesburg, MS that is! What a terrific first field trip. As stated by everyone who visits there, it was a beautiful place with beautiful people! Lots of smiles the whole time, including the monkey! 😁

We had a wonderful time with Bobbye Allums Carraway this week as she shared her incredible talents with us! We learned about the color wheel and how different colors can be made from just red, blue, and yellow. But then she brought out these beautiful leaves that look just like little birds! Wow! We were able to use the colors we made to paint the ‘birds’. Thank you, Mrs. Bobbye! This has enabled us to go color the Kingdom! You are a treasure!
