While our hallways may be a little quieter, our days are anything but slow. Summer is a busy time as we prepare for another amazing school year at Gulf Breeze Elementary!
Behind the scenes, our team is:

π Creating car tags and transportation materials
π« Finalizing class placements and schedules

Mrs. Colin, Principal, and Mrs. Lewter, Assistant Principal, recently attended the Santa Rosa County Administrative Conference and spent time learning, growing, and preparing for an amazing year ahead! We are so excited for the 2026β2027 school year at GBEβ¦ we can already feel the excitement building! π

Join us in welcoming a new Dolphin for the 2026-2027 school year!! π¬
Mrs. Holmes will serve as an ESE paraprofessional in our CBSA classroom. Her family recently relocated to the Pensacola area, and they are excited to call this community home and look forward to becoming more involved! Her husband, Joel, is the Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation in Pensacola. She is the proud mom of two wonderful children. Her son, Brayden, is 15 years old, and her daughter, Addie, is a freshman at the University of Alabama. In her free time, she enjoys weightlifting and reading. She is excited to be a part of Gulf Breeze Elementary and looks forward to getting to know the students, families, and staff.

GBE Families: We have some exciting news!
Our new computer program, IXL, is now accessible for all returning GBE students over the summer in preparation for 2026-2027. Students can access grade level skills, fluency, videos, lessons, and more all aligned to Florida standards.
There are also skill plans available by grade and subject area that break it into manageable pieces to help work on skills over the course of 4 weeks.
How to Get Started on IXL:
1. Go to www.santarosaschools.org
2. Go to Rapid Identity
3. Log in
4. Click "IXL Learning - GBE" app on the homepage (if not there - search for IXL in the search bar)
5. Click "Single Sign On" once on the IXL platform
6. You will be able to access the resources available once you are on the landing page! Choose from a variety of resources, skills, lessons, and more.
